School bus on an open American highway

Skoolie Life

Right in the Bus

A disabled Army combat veteran, his family, and a 40-foot school bus. We gutted it, built it out, and hit the road. This is that story.

Our Story

From School Bus to Home on Wheels

It started when I started looking for an RV and Shannon said — why not a bus? I thought she was joking. She wasn't.

Two years, a lot of YouTube rabbit holes, and one very patient family later, we had a home. Not a perfect home. But ours.

Our story — life on the road
